The Agel M lampshade looks like a tall island column of light. The upper part is made as a slim cone of tightly woven seagrass that smoothly widens towards the bottom. Under the edge of the weaving starts a generous fringe of natural fibres about 40 cm long - it creates the feeling of a "grass torch" or straw waterfall frozen in the air.
With the size H55(+40 fringe) x D30 cm Agel M already works as a large statement piece. It is not just a shade but the central element of the composition in a boho, coastal, wabi sabi or organic modern space. When the light is on it passes through the dense seagrass weaving, then diffuses in the fringe and throws living shadows on the walls and ceiling - similar to silhouettes of palm leaves or dry grass.

Each Agel M lampshade is woven by hand by craftsmen in Indonesia. Because of this small differences in weaving density, fringe length, direction of the fibre "flow" or seagrass shade are possible.
