Alam Lampshade combines a calm, familiar silhouette with a beautiful contrast of textures. Its body is hand-finished in natural pandanus, with fine fibres running vertically across the surface and small openings left between the woven lines. The warm natural tone keeps this part of the design understated and graphic.
The most distinctive detail of Alam is the generous fringe of light tassels along the lower edge. Loosely arranged at slightly different lengths, they create a soft volume around the shade. Against the structured pandanus weave, their almost textile-like texture feels especially expressive: precise vertical lines give way to a relaxed fringe that brings movement to the silhouette.
At 40 cm in diameter and 50 cm in height, Alam is relatively compact yet visually distinctive.
