Permata Natural Wall Decor is defined by a beautiful contrast of textures: long strands of natural Alang-Alang grass and delicate white shell detailing around the central opening. The body is made from natural Indonesian Alang-Alang grass. Long fibres spread freely from the centre in a broad, soft fan, creating an organic and slightly irregular edge. There is no rigid geometry here: the direction of individual strands, subtle variations in tone and natural asymmetry allow the material to retain its tactile character.
The most intricate work appears around the centre. The oval opening is finished with a light woven border, followed by a row of small rounded shells and an outer layer of elongated openwork shells. Against the warm golden-brown tone of the Alang-Alang grass, these white details appear almost jewellery-like, creating a refined transition from precise handwork to the loose movement of natural fibres.
At 65 x 80 cm, Permata Natural has enough presence to be displayed as a standalone wall accent. It does not require a complicated arrangement around it - a calm, light wall is enough to reveal its silhouette, natural texture and delicate white detailing.
