Permata Red Wall Decor immediately draws the eye with its colour - a deep, warm red with a muted terracotta undertone that works beautifully with the natural texture of Alang-Alang grass. Long fibres form a broad, soft silhouette, while their fine free-flowing ends keep the outline light and gently irregular.
The upper part of the composition is centred around a large open ring tightly wrapped in natural fibre. Its calm sandy-beige tone balances the richer colour of the grass. The transition between the two materials remains intentionally visible: light stitches run along the inner edge, securing individual sections of Alang-Alang to the base. This simple handmade detail gives Permata Red much of its character when viewed up close.
Here, Alang-Alang takes on an almost textile-like quality. The fibres are gathered neatly and densely around the ring before opening into wider sections below, overlapping and catching the light at different angles. As a result, the colour shifts subtly from warm terracotta red to deeper wine and brown notes in shadow.
At 65 x 80 cm, Permata Red works beautifully as a standalone wall accent. It can be placed above a console or cabinet, beside an armchair, or styled with ceramics, wood, rattan and natural textiles. Its warm red tone is particularly expressive against milky white, sand, greige and other quiet neutral backgrounds.
